NIAGARA WEST – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Sam Oosterhoff has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Niagara West in the next provincial general election.
Since his election as MPP for Niagara West in 2016, Sam Oosterhoff has been a strong advocate for his community. His focus on expanding critical infrastructure, job creation, and improving healthcare access has made a significant impact across the region, including the expansion of McNally House Hospice and the new WLMH Hospital.
“Sam has been an exceptional representative for Niagara West,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From building and twinning highways to investing in hospitals and expanding job training programs, Sam has delivered real results for his constituents. His commitment to keeping costs down for families, building more homes, and enhancing healthcare services shows his dedication to the people of Niagara West. I know he’ll continue to fight for the community’s future.”
Sam and the Ontario PC Party remain focused on key priorities in Niagara West, including expanding GO Train service, twinning the Garden City Skyway to fight gridlock, investing in water and community infrastructure to support new housing developments, and providing high-speed internet access across the region.
“I’m grateful for the trust that the people of Niagara West have placed in me over the years,” said Oosterhoff. “Representing this community is a privilege, and I remain dedicated to delivering results, whether it’s building more homes, keeping costs down for families, while continuing to fight the Liberal carbon tax, or expanding local healthcare. Together, we will continue to make Niagara West a great place to live and work.”
